NAPO is sponsoring its fourth annual Get Organized Month in January 2008.NAPO’s dozens of chapters and thousands of members will hold public events throughout the country. Look for Get Organized Month events in your community including reuse-and-recycle events, volunteer organizing events, vendor showcases and expos, shred-a-thons, seminars, panels, presentations, workshops, school outreach, and contests. Programming will take place in local libraries, bookstores, and community centers." www.napo.net
NAPO CHARLESTON is one of the participating GO Month Chapters. We will be holding our 2nd Annual GO Month, this year's being even bigger and better! NAPO Charleston has again partnered with LowCountry Goodwill! On January the 5th , we will be holding our kick off event titled “Resolution Clutter”. It will be held from 12 noon to 3 p.m. "Resolution Clutter" day will be held at the Goodwill Retail Store located at 1141 Six Mile Road, Mt Pleasant. On that day we will also be partnering with Cintas for a shred-a-thon. The public is welcome to come and donate to Goodwill and receive free shredding. This is a great way to begin clearing the clutter for 2008. A panel of organizers from NAPO Charleston will be available at this event to answer any questions you may have about organizing and the organizing industry. We will also be holding our second annual dream makeover contest, this year titled Mission: Garage. Come out to any Goodwill Retail location January 1rst through 31rst to pick up an application!
This year’s winner will also receive beautiful and functional garage organizing products from Garage Tek and Closets & Organizing by Design!
